Square Loyalty is priced on your loyalty visits, location by location. Here is what that means over a year for a real shop, what Square does best, and when a wallet card at a fixed price makes more sense.
In short. On 7 October 2026, Square Loyalty cost £25, £45 or £65 a month per location in the UK, depending on how many loyalty visits you get that month, with a 30-day free trial and no long-term contract. It is the natural choice if you already take payments with Square: points are earned at the till, with no extra step. If you don't use Square, or want a fixed price whatever your volume, nacard costs €9.99 a month excl. VAT with unlimited customers, on a card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

| Loyalty visits in the month | Price per location |

| 1,501 and more | £65 per calendar month |
Square counts as a loyalty visit every time a customer joins your programme, earns a point or redeems a reward. The bill therefore rises with the programme's success, and it is charged per location. A 30-day free trial is offered; email campaigns go through Square Marketing, a separate product.
A coffee shop open 6 days a week, where 25 customers a day use the loyalty card: about 650 loyalty visits a month. On Square Loyalty, that is the £45 tier, so £540 a year for one location. Under 500 visits a month, £300 a year. On nacard Pro, it is €119.88 excl. VAT a year whatever the number of visits: for Square to cost less even on its lowest tier, a pound would have to be worth less than €0.40.
Estimate based on the public tiers above; your bill depends on your real visits.

nacard is a young product, published by MADRA SAS in Paris. Prices are in euros. The merchant app (iPhone and Android) is in French for now: English, Spanish, German and Portuguese versions are ready and will ship once the app is out on the App Store and Google Play; until then, we set up your card with you by email. Your customers already get an English sign-up page and card. SMS campaigns only reach French numbers for now (wallet notifications work in every country). No till integration, no multi-location management, no separate staff logins and no self-serve customer export yet.

On 7 October 2026, Square's UK page listed £25 a month per location for 0 to 500 loyalty visits, £45 for 501 to 1,500 and £65 above 1,501, with a 30-day free trial and no long-term contract. A loyalty visit is a sign-up, a point earned or a reward redeemed.
No, it is a paid add-on after the 30-day free trial. Its price depends on your loyalty visits and your number of locations.
Square Loyalty works with Square Point of Sale, Square Online and Square Invoices. If you take payments with another provider, a stand-alone wallet card such as nacard works with any till.
For one shop, nacard Pro costs €9.99 a month excl. VAT (€119.88 a year) with unlimited customers, against £300 to £780 a year for Square Loyalty depending on visits. Square calculates points automatically at the till, which nacard does not.
